Responsibilities
- Walk dogs of various sizes and breeds for 30 to 60 minutes per session.
- Ensure dogs are kept on a leash and under control at all times during walks.
- Collect and dispose of waste promptly and maintain a clean environment.
- Administer medication or dietary supplements as directed by pet parents.
- Maintain accurate logs regarding the dog's behavior, bathroom habits, and mood.
- Provide basic obedience commands and interactive playtime to keep dogs engaged.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pet care, dog walking, or veterinary assistance is preferred but not required.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to walk 2+ miles daily in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from client locations.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Valid driver's license and current auto insurance coverage.
