Responsibilities
- Safely walk and exercise dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments on scheduled routes.
- Administer medication and follow specific care instructions provided by pet owners.
- Maintain cleanliness by picking up waste and keeping walking equipment sanitized.
- Monitor dog behavior closely and report any health issues or behavioral concerns to management immediately.
- Document daily activities accurately, including walk times, distances, and any notable interactions.
- Build rapport with pet owners through friendly communication and reliable service.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and reliable personal vehicle required.
- Proven experience handling and walking dogs of different sizes.
- Strong time management skills with a strict commitment to punctuality.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Comfortable with dogs of all temperaments, including those with special needs.
- CPR/First Aid Certification is a significant plus.
