Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs individually or in small groups per client preferences
- Provide real-time photo/video updates during walks
- Administer basic care (feeding, hydration, waste cleanup)
- Maintain detailed activity logs for each pet
- Adapt walks to weather and pet-specific needs
- Build strong client relationships through exceptional service
- Attend monthly training sessions on best practices
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong understanding of canine behavior and handling
- Ability to walk dogs in varying Tucson weather conditions
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Smartphone proficiency for app-based scheduling
- Must pass background check and pet handling assessment
