As a Dog Walker, you will play a vital role in keeping our community's pets happy and healthy. You will be responsible for ensuring each dog receives the exercise, attention, and love they deserve while their owners are away.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily walking and exercise for dogs of various sizes and breeds.
- Clean up waste immediately and dispose of it properly.
- Feed pets according to their specific dietary requirements and feeding schedules.
- Monitor pet behavior for any signs of illness, injury, or distress.
- Administer medication as prescribed by the veterinarian.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during walks to prevent accidents.
- Update owners with daily reports, photos, and status updates via the company app.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of professional pet sitting or dog walking experience.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of dog body language and safety.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and early morning shifts.
- Certification in Pet CPR/First Aid is a significant plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
