Responsibilities
- Walk and exercise dogs of various sizes and temperaments throughout Sacramento and surrounding neighborhoods.
- Clean up waste immediately and dispose of it in accordance with city regulations.
- Administer medication (if applicable) and monitor pet health during walks.
- Report any unusual behavior, injuries, or health issues to pet parents promptly.
- Ensure vehicles and equipment are clean and organized before and after shifts.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and client-specific instruction sheets.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dog walking or pet sitting is required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- Strong passion for animals with a patient, friendly, and calm demeanor.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and walk briskly for 1-2 hours.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to punctuality.
