Responsibilities
- Conduct Daily Walks: Provide safe, healthy, and enjoyable 30-60 minute walks for dogs of all breeds and sizes, ensuring they get the exercise they need.
- Pet Care Duties: Feed pets according to their dietary needs, administer medication (if trained), and ensure water is available.
- Hygiene & Safety: Clean up after pets immediately and maintain a high standard of hygiene during all visits.
- Client Communication: Provide timely updates, photos, and feedback to pet owners via our app or email to build trust and rapport.
- Property Maintenance: Check the home for any safety hazards, water leaks, or unusual behavior while on site.
- Training: Assist in basic training exercises (sit, stay, come) to improve the dog's behavior and obedience.
Qualifications
- Passion for Animals: Genuine love for dogs and a patient, caring demeanor.
- Reliability: Ability to arrive on time, be punctual, and maintain a consistent schedule.
- Experience: Prior experience in pet sitting, dog walking, or veterinary assistance is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Physical Fitness: Ability to walk 2+ miles comfortably and handle dogs of various sizes.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Background Check: Must be willing to undergo a background check.
