Responsibilities
- Safe and Enjoyable Walks: Take dogs for scheduled walks, ensuring they get adequate exercise, mental stimulation, and fresh air.
- Pet Care & Safety: Monitor dogs for any signs of distress, illness, or behavioral issues and report them immediately to the pet parents.
- Hygiene Management: Always carry waste bags and clean up after pets during walks to maintain cleanliness in the community.
- Communication: Provide real-time updates and photos to pet parents via our app, ensuring peace of mind.
- Property Maintenance: Ensure all gates, leashes, and equipment are secure before and after walks.
- Client Interaction: Maintain a friendly, professional demeanor when meeting clients and handling their beloved pets.
Qualifications
- Passion for Animals: A genuine love for dogs and a patient, gentle demeanor.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, responsible, and able to commit to a consistent schedule.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to walk 1-3 miles comfortably, lift up to 50 lbs, and handle energetic dogs.
- Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license.
- Communication Skills: Basic proficiency with smartphones for photo updates and messaging.
- Background Check: Willingness to pass a background check as required for pet safety.
