Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs individually or in small groups (2-4 dogs)
- Provide basic care (water, treats, waste cleanup) during walks
- Monitor dog behavior and report health/concerns to owners
- Maintain accurate walk logs and client communication
- Adhere to safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Build trust-based relationships with pets and owners
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ with valid driver's license and insured vehicle
- Physical ability to handle dogs up to 80 lbs
- Reliable smartphone with data/internet access
- Excellent time management and punctuality
- Basic pet first aid certification (provided if needed)
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Local Fort Wayne residency preferred
