Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the technical roadmap for the 2026 Initiative, aligning research goals with business objectives.
- R&D Oversight: Lead a team of 15+ senior engineers and data scientists in developing advanced predictive AI and machine learning models.
- System Architecture: Design scalable, fault-tolerant systems capable of handling petabyte-scale data processing.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with C-suite executives, product managers, and external partners to drive innovation and secure funding.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all future systems adhere to the highest standards of data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Mentorship: Foster a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and technical innovation within the engineering department.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Computational Physics, or a related field.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or directorial role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning (TensorFlow/PyTorch), and Distributed Systems.
- Cloud Mastery: Proven track record architecting solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Visionary Mindset: Demonstrated ability to anticipate industry trends and translate them into actionable technical strategies.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
