Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Develop and execute a comprehensive 5-year technology roadmap with a specific focus on milestones leading up to and through 2026.
- Trend Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on emerging technologies (AI, Quantum Computing, Spatial Computing) to predict their market adoption by 2026.
- Stakeholder Leadership: Present complex strategic visions to the C-suite and board of directors, translating technical jargon into business value.
- Innovation Integration: Spearhead pilot programs for technologies expected to mature by 2026, ensuring seamless integration into our product ecosystem.
- Competitive Intelligence: Monitor competitor strategies to ensure our 2026 vision remains distinct and defensible.
- Resource Allocation: Direct the budget and talent acquisition strategy required to meet the aggressive targets set for 2026.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in senior technology leadership roles, with a proven track record of strategic planning.
- Forecasting Expertise: Demonstrated ability to predict technology trends and their commercial viability.
- Leadership: Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams of 50+ engineers and strategists.
