Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks following SCAA standards
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized beverage recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of espresso machines, grinders, and service areas
- Operate POS systems accurately and handle cash/credit transactions
- Collaborate with team to optimize workflow during peak hours
- Source and educate customers on single-origin coffee beans and brewing methods
- Assist in inventory management and restocking of coffee supplies
Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional barista experience preferred
- Expert knowledge of espresso extraction and milk steaming techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- Strong interpersonal skills with enthusiasm for customer engagement
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking
- Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Portfolio of latte art samples required
