Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso beverages and food items according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace, strictly adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and provide exceptional customer service with a smile.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and process payments accurately.
- Assist in daily inventory management, restocking supplies, and organizing the cafe floor.
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of coffee brewing equipment and grinders.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a coffee shop or fast-paced food service environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of espresso brewing techniques, milk texturing, and latte art is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort with POS systems.
- Valid food handler's permit (where applicable).
