Our 2-week paid training program covers coffee history, equipment operation, customer service excellence, and inventory management. Upon completion, you'll become a certified barista with guaranteed placement in one of our 5 locations across the French Quarter and Garden District.
Responsibilities
- Master espresso extraction and specialty drink preparation
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in café areas
- Operate POS systems and handle cash transactions accurately
- Collaborate with team during peak hours while maintaining quality
- Participate in ongoing product knowledge training
- Support inventory management and stock rotation
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ with reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to stand for extended periods (6-8 hour shifts)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Positive attitude with genuine interest in coffee culture
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- No prior barista experience necessary – training provided!
