Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, brewed coffee, and teas.
- Operate and maintain coffee brewing equipment and espresso machines to ensure quality standards.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, including cleaning counters, floors, and seating areas.
- Restock ingredients, cups, and napkins to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately using POS systems.
- Upsell products and suggest coffee pairings to enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and flavor profiles is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
