Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of high-quality coffee and espresso beverages, including latte art.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace, following all health and safety regulations.
- Operate and troubleshoot commercial coffee brewing equipment and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders accurately, and answering questions.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience in a coffee shop or fine dining setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory counting.
- A valid food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one.
