As a Barista, you are the face of The Brew Collective. You will craft high-quality beverages, engage with our community, and ensure every guest feels welcomed.
Responsibilities
- Beverage Preparation: Expertly brew espresso, prepare cold drinks, and perform latte art with precision and consistency.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to every guest, answering questions about our menu and making personalized recommendations.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all health and safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, restock supplies, and assist in managing waste and cost control.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Cash Handling: Accurately handle transactions and maintain the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in a coffee shop or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espresso machines, and milk texturing.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
