Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and pastries, following standard recipes and quality control procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace, including espresso machines, counters, and seating areas, adhering to strict health and safety regulations.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide friendly, knowledgeable recommendations to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate cash drawers and sales records.
- Restock inventory regularly, including coffee beans, syrups, milk, and cups, to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Clean and sanitize equipment and utensils according to health codes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required; training provided.
- Strong passion for coffee culture and a willingness to learn brewing techniques and latte art.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
