Responsibilities
- Beverage Preparation: Expertly prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold coffee beverages, teas, and snacks according to our strict quality standards.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area, including the coffee bar, dining space, and restrooms.
- Point of Sale: Operate the POS system efficiently, handle cash and credit transactions, and manage the register with accuracy.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and supplies, and assist in restocking as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow baristas and store managers to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive team culture.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required.
- Skill Set: Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and a keen eye for detail in latte art presentation.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to interact positively with a diverse customer base.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform physical tasks such as steaming milk and reaching high shelves.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
