Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and frappes, following strict recipes and quality standards.
- Operate coffee brewing equipment and point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to process transactions efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering inquiries, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, including sanitizing equipment and restocking supplies.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations and effective communication.
- Learn and demonstrate knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista is preferred but not required; passion for coffee is a must.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Availability to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
