Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare espresso drinks, pour-overs, and specialty beverages using premium equipment
- Deliver exceptional customer service with product knowledge and personalized recommendations
- Operate POS systems, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate sales records
- Ensure pristine cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas
- Support inventory management, restocking, and quality control of ingredients
- Collaborate with team to create a welcoming, efficient café atmosphere
- Adhere to food safety standards and company protocols consistently
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional barista experience required
- Expert knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and brewing techniques
- Strong customer service orientation with ability to multitask in fast-paced settings
- Basic math skills for handling cash and inventory
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler Certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
