Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages using premium beans and espresso machines
- Deliver exceptional customer service with warm hospitality and product knowledge
- Maintain a pristine, organized workspace following strict hygiene standards
- Operate POS systems efficiently and handle cash/transactions accurately
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless café operations during peak hours
- Develop and maintain deep knowledge of coffee origins, brewing techniques, and menu items
- Support inventory management and restocking of supplies
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional barista or customer service experience
- Expertise in espresso brewing, latte art, and alternative brewing methods
- Ability to work standing for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and passion for hospitality
- Availability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic food safety certification (ServSafe preferred)
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
