Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks following precise recipes and quality standards
- Engage warmly with customers, taking orders and providing personalized recommendations
- Maintain a pristine and organized workspace including espresso machines, grinders, and service areas
- Manage cash transactions accurately using POS systems while ensuring excellent customer service
- Collaborate with team members to uphold operational excellence during peak hours
- Assist in inventory management and restocking of coffee beans, syrups, and supplies
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive atmosphere that reflects our brand values
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional barista experience with demonstrable latte art skills
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing methods, bean origins, and flavor profiles
- Exceptional communication skills and a genuine passion for hospitality
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling and inventory tasks
- Food Handler's certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
