Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and present specialty coffee drinks following precise recipes and quality standards
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations and warm hospitality
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of espresso machines, brewing equipment, and service areas
- Operate POS systems efficiently while processing cash, credit, and mobile payments
- Collaborate with team during peak hours to ensure seamless order fulfillment
- Source and rotate inventory of fresh coffee beans, syrups, and dairy products
- Participate in monthly training sessions on new brewing techniques and menu items
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional barista experience with espresso machine proficiency
- Extensive knowledge of coffee origins, roasts, and brewing methodologies
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- ServSafe certification or food handling experience preferred
- Availability to work weekends, early mornings (5 AM start), and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Commitment to sustainability practices and waste reduction
- Portfolio of latte art or coffee creations (portfolio submission required)
