Responsibilities
- Prepare and Serve: Expertly prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and cold brew, adhering to strict quality standards.
- Customer Experience: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and build lasting relationships with our community.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment with precision; perform daily cleaning and maintenance.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work efficiently with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Inventory Management: Assist in stock management, restocking supplies, and monitoring waste to minimize costs.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, latte art, and proper milk texturing.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, mornings, and holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs safely.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
