Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics policies and frameworks for the organization
- Conduct ethical risk assessments for new AI projects and products
- Stay current with global AI regulations and standards, ensuring compliance and proactive adaptation
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical considerations into AI development processes
- Advocate for ethical AI practices across the organization and with external stakeholders
- Lead the creation of transparency and explainability mechanisms for AI systems
- Conduct research on emerging ethical challenges in AI and propose mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Law, Computer Science, or a related field; PhD preferred
- 5+ years of experience in AI ethics, policy development, or a related role
- Deep understanding of AI technologies, machine learning, and their societal implications
- Experience with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, AI Act, and other emerging AI regulations
- Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex ethical dilemmas
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and educate
- Proven track record of developing and implementing ethical guidelines in a tech environment
