Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks and compliance standards for AGI models.
- Conduct rigorous impact assessments on new algorithms to identify and mitigate biases, safety risks, and unintended consequences.
- Liaise with global regulatory bodies and policymakers to ensure Horizon Future Systems remains ahead of evolving AI legislation.
- Lead internal training programs to foster a culture of responsible innovation across all engineering and product teams.
- Establish transparent reporting mechanisms for AI decision-making processes and outcomes.
- Collaborate with technical leads to integrate safety guardrails directly into the development lifecycle.
- Advocate for the responsible use of data and privacy preservation in machine learning applications.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in compliance, ethics, risk management, or a related field within the technology sector.
- Advanced degree (Masterβs or PhD) in Computer Science, Philosophy, Law, or a relevant interdisciplinary field.
- Deep understanding of current AI regulatory landscapes, including the EU AI Act and US federal AI guidelines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical systems through an ethical lens.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and policymakers.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving cultural change.
- Familiarity with Python, NLP, or deep learning architectures is a strong plus.
