Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (2025-2027) and develop strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to map future technology adoption curves
- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario planning documents
- Advise executive leadership on 2026+ technology investment strategies
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups for potential partnerships
- Represent Horizon Labs at global tech foresight conferences
- Develop patent strategies for emerging IP landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or venture capital
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, quantum, or biotech domains
- Proven track record of developing 5+ year tech roadmaps
- Published thought leadership in futurism or tech forecasting
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in relevant technical field (PhD preferred)
- Strong network with global research institutions and startups
