Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and socioeconomic trends through 2026
- Develop and maintain the organization's strategic foresight framework using AI-driven analytics
- Produce quarterly trend briefings and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Champion innovation workshops cross-functionally to align departments on future opportunities
- Author thought leadership publications and present at global industry forums
- Build and mentor a high-performance futurist team of researchers and data scientists
- Integrate future-ready strategies into product roadmaps and operational planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, SWOT analysis, and systemic modeling
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional data visualization and presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published author or recognized speaker in futurism/innovation spaces
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Track record of translating future insights into successful commercial strategies
