Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Strategic Foresight Framework, including scenario modeling and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors and executive stakeholders
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget and oversee vendor/partner ecosystems
- Author quarterly 'Horizon Reports' on disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Mentor a team of 5 futurist analysts and innovation specialists
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and industry summits
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating future trends into billion-dollar opportunities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent discipline
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Experience leading enterprise-level transformation initiatives
- Published author or keynote speaker on futurism topics
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or similar)
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and scenario planning software
