Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, geopolitics, and consumer behavior to map 2026 landscape
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and impact assessments
- Present compelling futures narratives to executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Establish innovation pipelines for emerging opportunities with 3-year commercialization horizons
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight insights into actionable product roadmaps
- Author annual '2026 State of the Future' report for industry stakeholders
- Build and lead a dedicated futures intelligence network across global markets
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating long-term trends into executable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and quantitative trend analysis
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with executive-level presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership on long-term strategic planning preferred
