Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processor architectures targeting 2026 scalability milestones
- Develop error-correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Create quantum software interfaces bridging classical and quantum computing paradigms
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum-secure communication protocols
- Research novel quantum algorithms for molecular simulation and optimization problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum-classical hybrid systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years developing quantum algorithms or quantum error correction systems
- Expertise in Q#, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Publication record in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Strong background in superconducting qubit technologies or photonic quantum systems
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures and parallel programming
- Understanding of quantum security protocols and NIST post-quantum cryptography standards
