- Establish strategic partnerships with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Conduct horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year adoption cycles
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members
- Oversee innovation lab operations and R&D budget allocation
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology paradigms
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology leadership with demonstrable impact on future-oriented initiatives
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology, or quantum computing)
- Proven track record of scaling innovation programs from concept to market deployment
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PhD preferred
- Experience presenting at global tech forums (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Strong network within venture capital and emerging technology ecosystems
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (e.g., from WFSF)
