Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts affecting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks using data modeling and trend analysis
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate future scenarios into actionable innovation pipelines
- Present foresight findings to executive stakeholders through compelling visual narratives
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for cross-functional teams
- Produce annual '2026 State of the Future' strategic intelligence report
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting complex concepts to executives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-shaping initiatives
