Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026-2030
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging markets (quantum computing, synthetic biology, climate resilience)
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into actionable product roadmaps
- Present trend analysis to executive stakeholders and external partners
- Build and manage a global network of futurist researchers and industry experts
- Author thought leadership publications on future-of-work paradigms
- Integrate scenario planning into annual strategic planning cycles
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into market advantage
- Expertise in systems thinking and complex adaptive systems modeling
- Published author or speaker at global futurism conferences (WFS, Foresight)
- Mastery of scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Shell's Two Loops)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field
- Proficiency in AI trend analysis tools (e.g., Trend Hunter, Gartner)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
