Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps for product innovation aligned with 3-5 year future horizons
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to identify opportunities and risks in evolving ecosystems
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-forward solutions using AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Present foresight insights to C-suite executives and board members to inform high-stakes decisions
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications on the future of work, sustainability, and human-machine collaboration
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or innovation roles with proven futurist methodologies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex future scenarios into compelling narratives
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through transformational change initiatives
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS) preferred
