Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026-2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic models for climate adaptation, AI governance, and biotech convergence
- Design and facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development
- Produce quarterly trend briefings for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Create quantitative frameworks for measuring emerging market readiness
- Lead the development of Horizon Dynamics' 2026 Innovation Portfolio
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech trend analysis
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI
- Proven ability to translate complex scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Proficiency in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences and technical teams
- Published thought leadership in futurist publications or journals
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on organizational strategy through foresight work
