This pivotal role requires a blend of strategic foresight, technical acumen, and leadership excellence to prepare our organization for the evolving landscape of 2026 and beyond.
As a key member of our C-suite strategy team, you'll collaborate with global R&D centers, industry disruptors, and academic pioneers to identify paradigm shifts in AI, quantum computing, biotechnology, and sustainable infrastructure. You'll translate future scenarios into actionable blueprints, ensuring our organization not only adapts but leads the next wave of industrial evolution.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework through horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions in quantum-AI convergence and sustainable tech
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Author quarterly 'Future Forward' reports for executive board and investor briefings
- Design and implement organizational change initiatives to embed future-readiness culture
- Oversee the 2026 Innovation Lab budget ($15M+) and resource allocation for moonshot projects
- Represent FutureVision at Davos, CES, and other global future-tech forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent technical discipline
- Proven track record in developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for exponential technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and quantitative trend analysis
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AGI development trajectories, and climate tech
- Exceptional executive communication skills with C-suite/board presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or similar tier publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston) preferred
