Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service at the checkout counter.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict accuracy and accountability.
- Keep the sales floor and checkout area clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, locating items, and answering basic questions.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stocking shelves as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not always required).
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
