Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate material handling equipment to load and unload trucks and trailers within strict timeframes.
- Inventory Management: Perform daily cycle counts and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using warehouse management systems.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of warehouse equipment and machinery.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and fellow associates to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software is a plus.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
