Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers warmly, answering inquiries and providing product information to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operational Support: Assist with daily store operations, including stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Transaction Management: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using Point of Sale (POS) systems and handle returns or exchanges as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks, share updates, and support colleagues during busy periods.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels, report shortages or damages, and help manage stock organization to prevent out-of-stock situations.
- Event Coordination: Assist in setting up and breaking down weekend promotional events or pop-up displays within the New York location.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Experience: Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales is preferred but not required; training is provided.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse customer base.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and time management in previous roles.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and move around the sales floor as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
