Responsibilities
- Prepare specialty coffee drinks with precision and artistry
- Engage warmly with customers and provide personalized recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace
- Operate POS systems and handle cash transactions accurately
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth weekend operations
- Adhere to all health and safety standards
- Participate in monthly product tastings and training
Qualifications
- Previous barista or customer service experience preferred
- Flexible availability Saturdays and Sundays (8 AM - 6 PM)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and multitask
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Passion for coffee and willingness to learn
- Valid NYC food handler certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation to Manhattan location
