Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly, professional demeanor upon entering the store.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently to process transactions.
- Stock shelves, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the sales floor is tidy and visually appealing.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries, returns, and exchanges with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the team to meet daily sales targets and store goals.
- Perform light cleaning and maintenance tasks to uphold store standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must be available to work a minimum of 15-20 hours per week, primarily on weekends.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with diverse customers.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy and math skills.
- A valid Social Security Number is required.
