Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities
- Respond to patient calls and provide timely care interventions
- Collaborate with night-shift nurses on patient care plans
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Stock medical supplies and equipment for overnight shifts
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited healthcare program (students welcome)
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and empathy for diverse patient populations
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts
- Previous healthcare experience or willingness to complete training
