Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care during weekend night shifts, including vital sign monitoring and medication administration
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Handle patient intake, scheduling, and front desk operations during overnight hours
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with night shift nursing and emergency response teams
- Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment for next-day operations
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide compassionate care during overnight hours
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting
- Flexibility to work weekends (Sat/Sun) and overnight shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- Valid CPR certification and ability to lift 50 pounds
- Colorado state medical assistant license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
