Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations accurately in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Administer prescribed medications under RN supervision following safety protocols
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and medical supply inventory
- Collaborate with nursing staff during shift transitions for continuity of care
- Participate in ongoing training to maintain clinical competencies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA certification preferred
- Minimum 6 months healthcare experience in acute care or long-term setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills with attention to detail
- Availability for evening shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) and weekend rotations
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
