Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks with precision and artistry
- Engage customers with friendly, knowledgeable service and product recommendations
- Process POS transactions accurately and maintain cash drawer accountability
- Support inventory management and uphold strict sanitation standards
- Collaborate with team during peak weekend rushes to ensure seamless operations
- Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere through attentive table service and cleanliness
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of customer service or food/beverage experience
- Ability to work efficiently during high-pressure weekend rushes
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing methods and flavor profiles
- Strong communication skills and approachable demeanor
- Availability Saturdays and Sundays (8am-4pm shifts)
- Food Handler Certification preferred
- Reliable transportation to downtown San Jose location
