Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages with precision and artistry
- Engage warmly with weekend customers, providing recommendations and creating memorable experiences
- Maintain spotless cleanliness of coffee station, equipment, and customer areas
- Process cash and digital payments accurately while maintaining transaction security
- Collaborate with weekend team to ensure seamless operations during peak hours
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of coffee supplies
- Participate in monthly coffee tasting sessions to refine palate and expertise
Qualifications
- Previous barista or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work weekends (Friday-Sunday) with flexible shift availability
- Strong communication skills and genuine passion for coffee culture
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
- Reliable transportation to downtown Austin location
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
