Responsibilities
- Prepare specialty coffee drinks with precision and artistry
- Deliver exceptional customer service with warm, authentic interactions
- Manage POS systems and cash handling with accuracy
- Maintain sparkling cleanliness of bar and customer areas
- Collaborate with team during peak weekend rushes
- Source and showcase local pastries and merchandise
- Train on new seasonal drink offerings
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months barista experience required
- Weekend availability (Saturdays & Sundays, 6am-2pm)
- Knowledge of espresso extraction and milk steaming
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Passion for Portland's coffee culture
- Food Handler's certification preferred
- Reliable transportation required
