Responsibilities
- Greet and Seat Guests: Welcome patrons warmly and manage table assignments efficiently to ensure a smooth flow of service.
- Take Orders: Accurately record food and beverage orders using our POS system and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve Food & Beverage: Deliver orders promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met and beverages are fresh.
- Handle Payments: Process cash and credit transactions with precision and process tips correctly.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the dining area pristine, including wiping tables, resetting chairs, and maintaining the service station.
- Upsell & Promote: Suggest daily specials and beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a server or waiter is preferred but not required for the right candidates.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift trays weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Sanitation Knowledge: Familiarity with local health codes and proper food handling procedures.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and fellow servers.
