Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming stock against purchase orders, inspect products for damage, and accurately record inventory levels.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare, pack, and label shipments for delivery, ensuring all documentation is completed correctly.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders for distribution, adhering to strict deadlines and quality standards.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery and handheld scanners proficiently to support daily operations.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other staff members to ensure smooth workflow and problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate various warehouse environments.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to use barcode scanners or inventory management software.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Certification: Forklift certification is a plus but not required for entry-level positions.
